Dr. Planas joined Otolaryngology Associates and Advanced Hearing Services, our affiliated hearing aid sales and service company, in 2021. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from James Madison University in 2016 and her clinical Doctorate degree in Audiology from The Ohio State University in 2021. Dr. Planas completed her fourth year fellowship at the Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio. Her clinical experience includes audiologic evaluation throughout the lifespan, vestibular evaluation, and adult hearing aid dispensing. Dr. Planas is licensed by the Commonwealth of Virginia Board of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology, holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-A) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, and is a member of the American Academy of Audiology.
