Dr. Poston received both her Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences & Disorders (2001) and her Doctor of Philosophy in Clinical Audiology (2005) from James Madison University. The focus of her research was balance testing comparing ages & genders. Following a 1 year fellowship at the University of Virginia, she worked at Eastern Virginia Medical School, the VA Health Care System in North Jersey, and most recently, Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Poston has extensive experience with adult diagnostics to include audiometry, electrophysiology, and vestibular testing. She also has worked in the area of adult amplification and implantable devices for most of her career. Dr. Poston is licensed by the Commonwealth of Virginia in Audiology in addition to Hearing Instrumentation. She holds affiliations with both the American Academy of Audiology as well as the American Speech language Hearing Association.

Dr. Poston sees adult hearing aid patients at our Fairfax location.
