Dr. Petersen joined Otolaryngology Associates and Advanced Hearing Services, our affiliated hearing aid sales and service company, in 2022. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communicative Disorders from the University of Alabama in 2016 and her Doctorate of Audiology from the University of North Texas in 2020. Dr. Petersen completed her fourth year fellowship at Providence Speech and Hearing Center in Orange, CA, where she saw both adult and pediatric patients. She then moved to San Diego, CA where she enhanced her clinical skills while working for an Ear, Nose, and Throat practice for 2 years before moving back to her home state of Virginia. Dr. Petersen’s clinical experience includes audiologic evaluation throughout the lifespan, vestibular evaluation, and adult and pediatric hearing aid dispensing. Dr. Petersen is licensed by the Commonwealth of Virginia Board of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology and if a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology.
